DJ Mark Anthony
Mark Anthony got started spinning
at the age of 11. Behind the decks Mark Anthony creates a vibe and
ambient so full of energy. Where ever he goes he rocks the crowd!
Whether it is House, Hard Trance, or any other genre of Music
Music is a universal language, everyone all around the world listens
to it and understands it. In my surroundings I grew up listening to
all sorts of music from folk & traditional mexican spanish music, to
Big Band, Rockabilly, Rock & Roll, Motown, 60s & 70s Disco, R&B,
Blues, Jazz, Classical, 80s & 90s Rock, New Wave, Electronic, Metal,
Hip Hop, R&B. I love music so I collect it and I play it! No matter
where I am, I want to listen to it! Whether Im sad, happy, bored,
tired, it either makes me feel better or it relaxes me or just
comforts me. That is one of the reasons I became a Disc Jockey.
Through Music I can influence or change a crowds attitude or a persons
feelings one way or another!
During his time in high school the House Party & Underground Scene was
hitting hard in Los Angeles with House, Techno, Trance, Tribal &
Jungle. There was where his desire for playing & listening to House,
Techno, & Trance came about. When he graduated from high school he had
already been spinning at L.A.s top Venues. The Red Onion, Fantasia,
Caddies, The Dome @ Florentine Gardens Hollywood, Baby Does, Q.C.s,
Michaels, The Century Club, La Rumba, Leonardos, The Safari Bar,
Circus Disco and The Arena. Since then he has also Spun @ Ibiza (Stixx,
Qs,), Camachos (Peppers), Club Diva, The Gotham Club (Southgate),
Daily Planet, The Gotham Club (Santa Monica), Vertigos, The Stock

& Started the Atomik Monkey Mix Lab Internet Radio Show which consists

around the world DJs.
He gives credit to his friends that have supported him throughout the
years and to Art of Noize, Frank Cortez (Gumby), Philip V., and his
best friend Philip R., for he wouldnt be where he is at today if it
werent them. Not to mention the Fans.
DJ Mark Anthony continues to work on new material in the studio....
